Fauna Management

Fauna Management is the identification, capture, handling and relocation of fauna, before and during construction vegetation/habitat clearance or associated land works. 

CARE has extensive experience working across a variety of construction projects from housing developments to large linear infrastructure projects.

Our services include:

  • Pre and post vegetation clearance surveys to identify habitat features and present fauna species (threatened or non threatened)
  • Fauna salvage and relocation
  • Installation of nest boxes
  • Fauna Management reporting, inclusive of all records of fauna (observed, captured and relocated) with details of species, capture and release location.
